The danger of frosts have passed the USA and consequently the quotation of Soya complex in Chicago has decreased, which also has a negative impact on the world markets of sunflower seed and rape seed. However, there exists a risk of lack of GMO- soy in the E. U. The American Soybean Association states this fact and demands to restrict severe regulation, but this is unlikely to happen. This increases the opportunity of favorable situation for growing non-GMO soy. The prices for rape and sunflower seed in Central Ukraine are falling. However, the export of rape in the E.U. remains stable. Though this week the prices of sunflowers seed have fallen, traders expect great demand for sunflower seed this season, which is caused buy the increase of production capacity in Ukraine. The price for sunflower seed in Central Ukraine is 229 EUR/t EXW (last week — 233–241 EUR/t).

On the international markets of oil-bearing cultures there is an increase of prices on sunflower-seed oil. Positive signals are increasing. This development positively influences on Ukrainian markets. At the market of soya, thanks to the high demand on forage stuff from the side of the domestic pig and poultry farming, there are positive tendencies for the future. Rape seeds prices remain at the level of past week. The new government of Germany reports that the increasing of taxes on biodiesel during next years will not be conducted. Rape seed prices in Central Ukraine are 232-236 EUR/t (last week - 232-236 EUR/t ); sunflower seed are 199-203 EUR/t (last week - 199-203 EUR/t), soya - 268-275 EUR/t (last week –260-268 EUR/t).

In international markets, oilseed observed a positive trend. Some of the market participants are optimistic and expect separation rates for vegetable oil and crude oil prices upward. The prices for sunflower oil are particularly increasing in international markets. The main reason: is a projected reduction of proposals from Argentine. Prices of sunflower seeds in Ukraine reached the level of prices for rapeseed.
However, it appears that the large processors (Crushing Industry) is not willing to pay for sunflower seeds more than 3000 USD/t. Seasonal phenomenon is keeping manufacturers from selling. Rape seed prices in Central Ukraine are 242–254 EUR/t (last week — 242–254 EUR/t); sunflower seed are 236 — 240 EUR/t (last week — 236 — 240 EUR/t), soybean — 284–290 EUR/t (last week -290 — 292 EUR/t).

The price of raw oil-fuel is rising, and thus strengthens markets of Oilseeds. Market of rape remains stable in Europe . In Ukraine, winter rape suffering from late spring.
About 100 hectares with 1.4 million ha have been lost. Other 300 thousand hectares are in poor condition. Export prices of sunflower oil remain positive. Despite this, there are minor price fluctuations in the country due to the seasonal increase proposals for seed
sunflower.
